Weekly Photo Challenge: FORWARD
I was out of shape when I climbed the Great Wall. I knew that you didn’t have to be perfectly fit, but somehow you need to a tiny bit of inspiration to move that foot forward and make each step to the top. The grand turret in Mutianyu kept me moving forward, slowly, to the top. I did not finish the Wall from end to end, but somehow, I was proud to have reached the top, of pushing myself to where I thought I couldn’t be, and of having moved forward no matter how tiring it got.

I hope one day to do this. I cannot imagine how brethtaking it must be to see in person.
It really was. The good thing about the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall was that there weren’t too many people. It gives you a chance to take it all in and enjoy the fantastic view it offers!

I was challenged with climbing the wall. After all, how many chances of visiting Beijing do I have? The view was worth moving forward, slowly at that.
