As always, Ailsa’s travel theme can be quite a challenge for me. I searched and searched and searched for photos — but there’s very little to share with this week’s theme: shadow.
Anyway, here are the photos I managed to come up with. First, here’s the Sultan Omar Ali Saiffudin Mosque (fondly called Omar Ali by the locals) in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It was one of the most stunning mosques I’ve seen on the outside, and the first (and only) mosque I’ve entered.

Next is a photo from Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. I cannot remember exactly where it was, but I liked how serene the landscape was. I also enjoyed resting under the tree while taking this photo.

The last one is my favorite. These were my shadow and my father’s while walking in Angkor Wat in Cambodia. It was scorching hot, and it was only around 10 AM, but look at how short our shadows were then! (We’re not tall, I know, but the shadows make it appear as though it’s already lunch time!)

Happy travels everyone! š
