In May 2012, we visited Taman Mini, a park in Jakarta where Indonesian culture is showcased. Houses all across the country are represented here, and the one below definitely caught our attention.

Isn’t this house beautiful?
Its roof reminded me of Chinese temples. The exterior walls, however, were amazing. They were carved out of wood, then painted — time-consuming, but very beautiful.
